This bespoke course is designed for those who wish to gain a general understanding of EMS, using practical examples from the further and higher education sectors. Delivered by Yvonne Rowse from ECUS, the course will cover the most common standards including ISO 14001, the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), EcoCampus and Learning in Future Environments (LiFE). Its purpose is to provide delegates with information on why an EMS should be implemented, a summary on the EMS Standards available and the main elements that comprise these.
